DIY spike fasten coin pouch

Today I'm in a very creative mood. Rummaging through my fabric chest I found some old leather from a pair of 70s pants I cut into shorts. I cut a square piece out and folded it like an envelope, then glued it together and made a spike fastening. 

This was a really easy DIY and it took around 5 minutes in all! 

I think it's a really cute addition to my bags and purses collection!
